Optimization needs some work - the game can get resource intensive, and crashed at least twice during my playthrough.I couldn’t escape jail because the police decided to have an internal shootout against themselves. I couldn’t do the animal catcher mission because the dogs kept remotely eating my biscuits.Tasks and interactions can be somewhat buggy. Some fans might enjoy the humor, but for other people they might not enjoy it. I’d say it’s kind of like Adult Swim shows in scope. Absolutely irreverent humor in the dialogue, cutscenes, etc.The entire world is full of small details that make it richer - it’s always worth it to get a laugh out of the signs and fun to find the collectible Crotchy dolls.Longtime fans will enjoy the voice options including previous Postal Dudes, like Rick Hunter, Corey Cruise, and Jon St. Excellent voice acting - cutscenes are all fully voice acted.Although I have never played Postal 2 before so I cannot make comparisons, hearing good things about Postal 2 piqued my interest in checking out this game.įirst off, a quick rundown of a few points that stood out to me: The devs describe Postal 4 as an “Outrageous and satirical comedic first person shooter,” and from the variety of stuff you can shoot, from a cat-silenced machine gun to literally pissing on people, that seems pretty accurate. We don’t talk about Postal 3 the same way we don’t talk about The Last Airbender, or Fight Club, except Fight Club was actually good. Completely developed and self-published by series developer Running With Scissors, Postal 4 is the long-awaited sequel to the well known Postal 2.
